01Who we are
Thames Valley Financial Inc. (“Thames Valley”, “we”, “us”) is a Canadian financial-services company based in London, Ontario. This policy explains how we handle the personal information you share with us through this website. We have written it to follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the federal privacy law that applies to our commercial activities in Canada.
02What we collect
When you join our waitlist or get in touch, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, your email address, the company you represent, the audience you identify with, and any message you include. We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this site.
Our hosting and analytics provider also records limited technical information automatically, such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, so that we can keep the site secure and understand how it is used. This measurement is designed not to identify you personally.
03How we use it
We use the information you give us to let you know when Thames Valley launches and what it means for you, to send materials suited to how you identify (for example, an overview written for employers or for advisors), to respond to your questions, and, if you apply for a role, to consider you for it. We rely on your consent to use your information for these purposes, and you can withdraw that consent at any time, as described under “Your rights”.
04Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We do rely on a small number of service providers to run this site and to reach you, and they handle your information only on our instructions. We use Vercel for website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics, and Resend for the emails we send you. Both operate in the United States, which means your information may be processed outside Canada and subject to the laws of that country.
05Your rights
Under PIPEDA you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it. To make a request, email us at privacy@tvfi.ca, and we will respond within the time PIPEDA allows, normally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
06Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use Vercel’s web analytics to understand how the site is used; it measures traffic without identifying you and is designed to respect your privacy. If we add cookies or other tracking in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
07Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services develop or as the law changes. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let waitlist members know by email.
